Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 September 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Insidr (the “Service”), operated by Quarry Software. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. What Insidr is

Insidr aggregates publicly available disclosure data, including SEC Form 4 insider transaction filings and US congressional stock-trading disclosures (STOCK Act periodic transaction reports), into a live feed. Optional email alerts notify you when new Form 4s match a ticker or filer you watch. Person and ticker pages show a recent EDGAR Form 4 slice (a capped filing count — not a full historical archive). The feed may also surface factual labels such as multi-filer buy clusters and allow Pro export of the current snapshot. We do not create the underlying filings; we display information sourced from public records and third-party providers.

2. Not investment advice

The Service is for informational purposes only. Nothing on Insidr is investment, financial, tax, or legal advice, a solicitation, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. Past disclosures do not predict future results. Data may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate.

Public disclosure of a trade is not evidence of wrongdoing or insider trading. Insidr shows what was filed publicly; it does not investigate or allege misconduct beyond the disclosure itself.

Insidr and Quarry Software are not registered as a securities broker-dealer or investment adviser with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, FINRA, or any state securities regulatory authority, nor with ASIC in Australia.

Trading and investing involve substantial risk, including the risk of loss of some or all of your investment. Past filings or patterns in the data do not predict future results, and you should not expect to replicate any outcome suggested by historical data on Insidr.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, subscribe, or otherwise use the Service. By using Insidr you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Subscriptions and billing

  • Insidr Pro is a paid subscription billed in USD via Stripe (currently US$25 per month or US$240 per year unless a different price is shown at checkout).
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel.
  • You authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide for recurring fees and any applicable taxes.
  • You can cancel or update your payment method through Manage subscription (/billing, then the Stripe Customer Portal) or by contacting us. You may also pause payment collection for a limited period from /billing while keeping Pro access.
  • Cancellation stops future renewals. Access continues until the end of the current paid period unless we state otherwise.
  • Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

5. Accounts and access

Pro access is currently tied to the email used at checkout and a browser cookie. You are responsible for keeping that email and device access under your control. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms were violated, payment failed, or the Service is being abused (including scraping, circumvention of rate limits, or resale of data).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service if you are under 18;
  • scrape, bulk-download, or republish feeds in a way that overloads our systems or third-party sources (SEC EDGAR, Apify, and similar);
  • bypass paywalls, rate limits, or access controls;
  • present Insidr data as personalized investment recommendations;
  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

7. Third-party data

SEC EDGAR, congressional disclosure sources, and providers such as Apify may be unavailable, delayed, or change their terms. We may show cached data when a source is down. We are not responsible for errors or omissions in third-party filings.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Insidr and Quarry Software are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for investment losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on aggregated public filings. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or US$100 if you have not paid). Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel a subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access, with or without notice, if we discontinue the product, you breach these Terms, or we are required to by law. Provisions that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) survive termination.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Courts in Australia have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may have additional non-excludable rights in your place of residence.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date on this page.
